From 3-men crew to 2-men crew is a small change, but if the basic vehicle has undergone a generation change, it poses us with great challenges. The seating position of the new generation Sprinter has moved backwards quite a bit and hence, there is less space available to locate all other equipment. The new generation Sprinter also has a programmable / configurable module in the CAN-bus which will be used to integrate controls. The security level can be increased significantly without adding too much extra hardware and changes can be performed easily.
